Last Thursday night, Feb. the 4th, we attended the pre-grand opening of this brand new venue located in the heart of the Scottsdale Arts District. The Chef's Loft is a unique, multifunction, entertainment setting designed to serve many purposes including the hosting of parties, charity events, and corporate meetings.
But wait, they go well beyond that with their fully appointed studio kitchen, equipped with sound and video recording capabilities! The 3,300 square foot studio located at Southbridge, at the Scottsdale Waterfront, is built to produce quality culinary entertainment including lifestyle television shows, documentaries, commercials and more that promote growth, team building, mentoring and recognition, connecting today’s top professional chefs, with the dining public.
This is really a space open to possibilities! A place where you could create a unique experience for your party. How about hosting a hands-on cooking workshop for you and your guests? What a great way to promote teamwork for a company event, too!
The Chef's Loft has an intimate piano bar setting, where on this night the bartender served up a new cocktail called a B-29. This yummy and potent libation was made with Vodka, Vanilla Rum and their very own "J.J's Root Beer". This house root beer was created by J.J. Laszlo, father of The Chef's Loft owner, Michael Laszlo. Everyone who visits The Chef's Loft is sure to meet J.J. who, even in his 80's, can be found hobnobbing with guests, sharing stories, and just having a good time.
Well, for this good time, we were invited by The Chef's Loft's, "party diva", Maria Arnold-Hayden. Maria's energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Having encouraged us to show a few of our vintage inspired art pieces during the pre-grand opening event, we've been asked to show again, next time for the Grand Opening. We'll have to keep you posted on that! We hear they are also planning to host weekly live jazz nights, too!
Here are some pics:
Thank you Maria and Michael and J.J.! We had such a great time. Please check out The Chef's Loft at www.thechefsloft.com.
